Plumbing Nerds is always professional, timely and knowledgeable. Today, I had an old leaking kitchen faucet replaced. I had the same faucet installed at my Virginia home last month. I must admit I suffered from the sticker shock of the installation but it is what it is. My faucet in VA had to be rotated to a different side to allow me to be able to turn the hot water on. That was the same case here. Unfortunately, I had real estate closing and I didn't notice the faucet had been installed with the lever hitting the backsplash. That is why I deducted a star. They will be out tomorrow to correct this. This is a one hole lever pull-down faucet.

To arrive remove existing toilet, clean surface and install new wax ring and bolts. Put new toilet together and install new toilet, shim toilet and grout toilet.(however flooring does not match up with new toilet). Customer was aware. Remove existing faucet in kitchen and install new. Install new fill valve and flapper in guest bath.
Customer had no shut off valve on water heater, customer approved new valve.
Customers toilet is corroded inside, provided options, customer purchased gerber toilet
Customer supplied garbage disposal Replaced disposal, ran water and new disposal at the same time, no current leaks at this time..
Replace kitchen faucet and install original faucet on patio deck, arrived onsite met with customer and and went over scope of work, started on kitchen faucet removal and installation of new customer supplied kitchen faucet, once installed restored water pressure and checked for leaks, everything was working as it should, moved to faucet on patio deck, removed old one and installed original one from kitchen in its place, restored water pressure and checked for leaks everything is working as it should.
Opened up wall to expose pipe, made repairs to 1/2†CPVC water lines and installed a new hose bib with a vacuum breaker per code, no leaks are present at this time.
Customer supplied faucet. Removed and disposed of old faucet. Had to turn off valve at water heater to shut off hot side at angle stop. Hot side angle stop was not shutting off. Installed new customer supplied kitchen faucet and turned water back on to faucet and checked for leaks and no leaks occurred at this time. Ran water at the faucet and water pressure was adequate.
Backflow to main house. Backflow preventer was leaking a constant drip of water. Given the age of the backflow, the best solution was to replace. I turned water off at meter and removed and disposed of old backflow. I nstalled new backflow to existing copper unions. Turned check valves open and turned water on at the meter. I let water run until I got a good flow out of the check valves and no debri coming out. I shut off check valves and checked for leaks and no leaks occurred at this time. I turn valve on at the backflow and everything was working correctly.
Replace the shower valve in the master bathroom.
Angle stop replacement tech to cut into tile and obtain clean pipe in order to replace properly Main valve to home does not shut off water to home completely Installed new supply line for customer angle stop is not leaking and there are no leaks on the toilet at this time but I highly recommend him to do a major rebuild before leaving and if not replacing toilet sooner than later Address at the whole house wasn’t completely turned off from water they were still flow highly recommending to replace main shut off to home left estimate and customer gave us no email will call us back if further work is needed
